Shipping policy

Fresh & Frozen cannot be returned

  • All perishable items (fresh and frozen foods) are non-refundable. However, we will gladly offer a refund or replacement for items that arrive damaged or incorrect.

    To process your claim, please email us a photo of the damaged or incorrect items within 24 hours of delivery.

    Please note: Our specialized packaging is designed to keep fresh and frozen products safe for up to 24 hours. This timeline may be shorter during periods of extreme heat, so we highly recommend retrieving your delivery as soon as possible.

Damages and issues 

  • Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately, email and picture are mandatory (sales@westcoastwildfoods.com) if any item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong product, so that we can evaluate the issue and put it right within 24 hours of delivery.  
  • Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.


Refunds

  • We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

 

Local Pickup

Burnaby store

Free local pick-up is available at our Burnaby store at 8835 Northbrook ct., Burnaby, anytime between 9 – 5 pm from Monday – Friday. If you haven’t received a pickup notification, please call or email at sales@westcoastwildfoods.com to confirm.

Portland Store

Free local pick-up is available at our Portland store at 14121 NE Airport Way, Portland, anytime between 7 – 3 pm from Monday – Friday. If you haven’t received a pickup notification email, please call +1 503-477-5995 or email sales@westcoastwildfoods.com to confirm.



Ground Shipping

We use CanadaPost, Purolator or UPS for all ground shipping in Canada and UPS, USPS, and FedEx in the USA. All our dried and specialty products are shipped in 2 days and will get to you in 4-5 days once shipped. We will be updating you with a tracking number once the orders are shipped. 



Priority Overnight Shipping

All our fresh and frozen products need to be shipped with overnight shipping to ensure the freshness of the products while in transit. Due to the nature of our products, there might be a delay in shipping depending on the availability of products. 


I placed an order. When will my order arrive?

All orders are processed in 1 – 2 business days. Dried products are shipped once it’s processed, and the fresh products or wild food boxes are delivered the next day after it’s processed.

How can I calculate my shipping cost? 

Please use the shipping calculator at checkout to get an idea of what shipping options/costs will be for your order.  Shipping is calculated once you type in your postal code. 

Do you deliver yourself or use a courier?

We use couriers for all orders within the Metro Vancouver area. Anywhere outside Metro Vancouver, we use FedEx for fresh orders and Purolator for dried orders.

We use FedEx for all the orders in the US.
