Benefits, Uses and Directions

    • This oil helps to create a calming environment, which can enhance meditation, thanks to its high ketone content (e.g. alpha-Thujone, beta-Thujone, etc.)

    • Thujones, have been shown to kill microorganisms, which is why this oil is used for purifying the air

    • Terpinen-4-ol has also been shown to kill bacteria and fungus, contributing to its ability to purify the air

    • Add a few drops of Western Red Cedar oil into a diffuser to help with relaxation

    • Dilute to 1-2% for an amazing fabric or room spray

  • Due to its strong aroma, only a small amount is needed to add a sweet, calming yet purifying note into your blend

Cautions
    • Western Red Cedar oil contains high amounts of thujone and camphor, which can be neurotoxic at high concentrations; therefore, it is not recommended to use topically (e.g. only use for aromatic purposes)

    • This oil has also been shown to cause severe skin irritation
