Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 8 ounces fresh matsutake mushrooms, sliced
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, chopped, for garnish
Directions
- Clean the matsutake mushrooms with a soft brush to remove any dirt or debris. Slice them into thin slices. (5 minutes)
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced matsutake mushrooms and cook until browned and fragrant, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside. (5 minutes)
- In the same skillet, add the cooked rice and break it up with a spatula. Cook for a few minutes until heated through. (3-5 minutes)
- Pour the beaten eggs into the skillet with the rice. Scramble the eggs until they are set. (3-5 minutes)
- Add the cooked matsutake mushrooms, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine. (2-3 minutes)
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately. (1 minute)
